                                        THE VISIONEER:

Pastor Festus Alabi hails from Osun State, Nigeria, in West Africa. At age 12, a Prophet first told him during a Revival in Asubiaro, Osogbo, Osun State, that God's calling is upon his life. Meanwhile, before the prophecy (at age 10), he and his brother, Pastor Gideon Alabi (a Pastor of another Ministry), used to organize evening revivals in front of their family's house in Erin-Osun, Osun State. Neighbors and family friends used to attend. Since then, he has been preaching the undiluted words of God through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit with boldness, and God has been confirming the Call at every significant point of his destiny's journey.

Moreover, Pastor Festus Alabi has functioned as a teacher, prayer warrior, and preacher. His visions are to stand in the gap, bring salvation and light to those who do not know Jesus, share restoring messages with people, and serve the poor and those that are less privileged. Also, to restore the Church to its former glory and prepare leaders for its greatest revival.

Furthermore, in 1999 (after his University Education), during his "National Youth Service Corps" (NYSC) 's year in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria; by divine arrangements, he was assigned to pastor Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C.) in Okwe, Asaba. Meanwhile, after his NYSC year, he joined Fountain of Joy Ministries (FOJM) Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, where he assisted Pastor Emmanuel Adeyemi, the Founder of FOJM. He later joined Gethsemane Prayer Ministries, Ibadan. Oyo State.

In late 2001, he migrated to the United States of America (U.S.A.) as a Permanent Resident. He then joined Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C.), Boston, Massachusetts, where he officially ordained a "Deacon" in 2006. In addition, in 2008, after 7 years of worshipping and preaching in Christ Apostolic Church, Boston, and Lynn branches, he left the Church in obedience to God's directives. After leaving C.A.C., he joined Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministries (M.F.M.), Boston, U.S.A. In 2010, he was led by the Holy Spirit to join Living Faith Church Worldwide (also known as) Winners' Chapel International, Lowell, Massachusetts, where he served as a "Minister" and "Evangelism Team Coordinator."

On July 5, 2013, during his family vacation in New Hampshire, U.S.A., God gave him a vision for Jesus Restoration Ministries and told him that it was time to answer His divine Calling. On Sunday, November 24, 2013, Jesus Restoration Ministries was inaugurated in Boston, the U.S.A., by God's directives, and he was officially ordained a "Pastor" by Bishop Femi Owoyemi, the Senior Pastor, Kingdom Lighthouse Church, Rhode Island, U.S.A. . In conclusion, Pastor Festus Alabi holds Nigeria Certificate in Education (N.C.E.), Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.), Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (B.S.N.), Bachelor's Degree in Economics & Education (B.ScEd.), and Master's Degree in Theology (M.Th.). He is assisted in all areas of the ministry by his loving, caring, spiritual and dedicated wife, Pastor Ruth Alabi. The family is blessed with wonderful and God-fearing children. To God alone be ALL the glory!

                    Our Lifestyle Statement

We are a friendly, loving, caring, compassionate, like-minded, evangelistic Church. We believe God created us to worship, praise and glorify Him and that is what we enjoy doing the most!

                       What We Practice

Beliefs are not worth much unless they are translated into actions.  Based on what the Bible teaches, we feel very strongly about the following seven practices:

 1. Bible As Our Sole Authority

“The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us to do what is right.”  2 Timothy 3:15

Since God’s Word is the only completely reliable and truthful authority, we accept the Bible as our manual for living.  Our first question when faced with a decision is “What does the Bible say?”  We practice daily Bible reading, Bible study, and Bible memorization. The Bible is the basis for all we believe

 2. Priesthood of Every Believer

“Christ loves us, and by His death He has freed us from our sins and made us akingdom of priests to serve God...”  Rev. 1:6 (GN)  “You are...the King’s priests...God’s own people, chosen to proclaim the wonderful acts of God.”  1 Peter 2:9 (GN)

The Bible teaches that every Christian is called to “full time” Christian service, regardless of his or her vocation.  We practice the truth that every believer is a minister by encouraging every member to find a place of service and ministry.  Every believer has direct access to God through prayer Bible reading.

3. God First as Our Covenant Practice

Matthew 22:37-38 (MSG)  Jesus said, "'Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence. This is the most important, the first on any list.”

The value a man places on anything will determine where he position it in your life program. God’s stand is very clear on where He wants us to place Him and we therefore take it as a covenant practice that comes with benefits.

4. Fellowship

Hebrews 10:25 “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

Fellowshipping with other believers is one of the major signs of discipleship. It helps the believer to connect with the cooperate grace and enjoy balanced spiritual growth.

5. Spiritual Leadership and Covering

Hebrews 13:17 (ASV)  “Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit to them: for they watch in behalf of your souls, as they that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief: for this were unprofitable for you.”

At JRM, we believe that submitting to the spiritual leadership and covering is consistent with God’s  word and the men God has given to us should be honored in order to get the best out of them, our obedience and submission to them will enhance their effectiveness in the ministry of watching over our soul.

6. Tithing: “A tithe of everything you produce belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord.”  Leviticus 26:30

At JRM we practice tithing for the support of Christ’s body, the church, as God commands.  We recognize that giving 10% of our income is the Biblical standard of giving. Malachi 3:10 "10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."

7. Immersion

“For when you were baptized, you were buried with Christ, and in baptism you were also raised with Christ...”  Colossians 2:12 (GN). We practice baptism by immersion under water — the way Jesus was baptized, and the way the Bible commands. Matthew 28:19 (NIV) "19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,"

8. Spirit-led Living

(Jesus said), “I am the Vine, you are the branches.  If you abide in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; but apart from me you can do nothing.”  John 15:5

We believe the only way possible to live the Christian life is by God’s power within us.  So we seek to practice a daily dependence on God’s Spirit to enable us to do what is right.  (Philippians 2:13, Eph. 5:18)

9. Personal Witnessing

“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.”  1 Peter 3:15. It is the responsibility of every Christian to share the Good News with those with whom God brings us into contact.  We practice personal sharing about Christ and inviting friends to church.
